Hi and welcome to my first attempt at a blog. My name is Rev. Mike Redshaw and the initial purpose of this is to keep people up to date with what I’m doing during my sabbattical.
A sabbattical is a three month period away from immediate church work. It involves a period of study and reflection, but also a time of relaxation and enjoyment. During my time away from my churches I will be looking at sports (mainly football) chaplaincy and fresh expressions of church.
Hopefully, this all means I will be able to keep everyone informed so that people may be able to pray for me.
I will also be using the time to post more `stuff` on my website which can be found at www.revmike.co.uk so why not have a look at that also.
